Real estate is often seen as a conservative branch of sport, dominated by large, unwieldy bodies with a perverse image. At Interpark, we try to do it differently. Sustainability is central to our business operations. Not only through long-term and lasting relationships with both our customers and our partners, but also by investing in sustainability. Not because it is a trend or because the outside world expects it from us, but because we believe in the added value of sustainability in the long term. For both our partners and for society.

Central to our way of working and thinking is the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) of the UN. In many ways, we try to act towards these goals to make the world a little better. Not only through sustainability measures in our buildings, which almost all have an A Energy Label, but also by stimulating and rewarding our partners. For example, rewarding our partners that use energy from suppliers who only use renewable energy. But we also reward our tenants who have partnerships with parties that align themselves with charities. Perhaps our tenants are the most excellent example of our principles.

• Bistro Dreams uses not only natural ingredients from their own garden for their delicious dishes but also helps young people who are unable to get a job to obtain a diploma and a chance of a paid position.
• Ultrasun is the world’s most innovative supplier of beauty and health devices, aimed, among other things, at reducing wrinkles, helping to combat acne, reduce pigmentation. But also obtain one of the essential requirements for a healthy body and life: Vitamin D. They also work together with local charities and encourage their employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle. For example, by providing fruits and encouraging employees to participate in healthy activities, such as marathons and local sports.

We are proud of these tenants and we hope that they appreciate that we are doing our part for a sustainable world. Only by working together can we achieve our goals.
